Because of the low temperature, all types of plastics can be cut with a waterjet. We have particular experience with thicker plates of engineering plastics like Nylon, Acetal/POM, and we also cut sheets of Acrylic, ABS, Polycarbonate, PTFE/Teflon, and a variety of other plastics.
The low temperature environment produces clean and even edges without any melting or mechanical property changes, and our ability to cut intricate and repeated patterns is great for small runs, prototyping and testing prior to settling into mass production technologies.
